Please observe the following rules and regulations for your safety and the safety and well-being of the animals at Zoo Negara.

  1. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
  2. Do not feed the animals. Animals have their own specific diets, and visitors are strictly prohibited from feeding them.
  3. Do not tease or mistreat the animals by making excessive noise, provoking them, or throwing stones at them.
  4. Do not throw coins, branches, or any other objects into the animal enclosures, as these may cause injury to the animals.
  5. Do not litter. Please dispose of all rubbish in the designated bins provided.
  6. For your safety, do not cross the barriers, stand on protective walls, or enter any animal enclosure. All animals at Zoo Negara are wild animals.
  7. Do not pick or damage any plants or flowers.
  8. The following items and activities are prohibited within the Zoo Negara premises: radios, roller skates, bicycles, balloons, and any type of firecrackers or fireworks.
  9. Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
  10. Pets are not allowed inside the Zoo.
  11. Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited inside Zoo Negara, including food and drinks brought in as part of goodie bags, gift packs, hampers, or any other form of packaging.

Giant Panda Conservation Centre – Visitor Regulations

  1. Please keep noise to a minimum while inside the exhibition area.
  2. Please keep your mobile phone on silent mode.
  3. Photography is allowed; however, the use of flash photography is strictly prohibited.
  4. Do not throw or toss any objects towards the animals.
  5. Food and beverages are not allowed inside the exhibition area, and visitors are strictly prohibited from feeding the animals.
  6. Smoking is strictly prohibited.
